JERSEY Moorview Tasty was the winner of the Jersey Champion class at this year’s Launceston Show, to the delight of the Walters family.
The Walters, from North Hill, presented seven breeds of cattle at this year’s Launceston Show and the Post caught up with one member of the family, Zoe Walters, after winning a champion rosette.
She presented five-year-old ‘Tasty’, or Jersey Moorview Tasty, to the judges, and was delighted to win the Jersey Champion class. She said of the show: “It’s been going very good.”
Zoe and her family have been coming to Launceston Show ‘every year’, and have more exciting shows coming up soon.
They’ll be taking on Okehampton Show on August 10, and later in the year, All Breeds, All Britain Show on October 13. Zoe said: “That is a very prestigious show.”
Speaking of Launceston Show, she added: “It’s always a nice atmosphere.”
