THE Poughill Flower and Vegetable Show was held in the village hall on Thursday, August 11. The entries for this year’s show were up on last year in a total of 12 classes and the six judges were kept very busy.

The show’s main sponsors, Mrs Julia Shepherd, of Lansdown Dairy, and Mr William Bryant, of Arthur W Bryant Funeral Services, presented a total of 18 cups and trophies to the winners and a raffle finished off the afternoon’s proceedings.
