THE campaign to save Bude's historic Sea Pool is an urgent one; the Friends of Bude Sea Pool (FoBSP) have just a few months to put together a solid proposal which will ensure that the pool opens as usual in 2012.

As a result, many of the organisational tasks which can normally be done at a leisurely pace are instead being tackled on a tight deadline.

So when the FoBSP launched a competition in June to design a striking emblem to sum up the 'SOS: Save Our Sea Pool' campaign, the team knew that they were asking a lot.
