TWO groups who support people affected by lung conditions, Holsworthy’s ‘Breath of Fresh Air’ and Launceston’s ‘Breathe Easy’, group, held a joint meeting at the Fat Hippo Café, in Homeleigh Garden Centre on Wednesday, August 16.

Normally the Holsworthy group meets on the third Wednesday of each month at Chilsworthy Village Hall and the Launceston group on the second Tuesday of each month at the Storm Venue, but on this occasion some 27 people, including members’ friends and family enjoyed a traditional cream tea and a chance to make new friends and share ideas.

This was the fifth such meeting that the facilitators Wendy Millar and Glenda Smith have arranged and no doubt the relationship between the two groups will continue.

The next Breathe Easy meeting will be at 2pm on Tuesday, September 10, and the next Breath of Fresh Air meeting will be at 2pm on Wednesday, September 20.
