ON Tuesday October 18 at Bude Bridge Club John Ridding and Jenny Tregarthen came top North/South with 58.04%. Roger Alway and Alan Merchant-White were second with 55.06% with Steven and Charles Clifton in third position with 54.446%.

East/West results were also fairly close with Mary and David Hicks in first position with 58.93%, George Booth and Paul Laming second with 57.74% and Chris Nichols and John Ridding third with 57.14%.

On Friday October 21 John Ridding and Chris Nichols were clear winners with 65.1%. Kathleen Bence and Veronica Chouffot gave a very creditable performance to finish second with 58.8% ahead of Alan Biggs and Ian Edwards in third with 55.73%. Also earning masterpoints were Jacqueline Russell and Mike Newman with 50.52%.
