I WOULD like to tell you how much I enjoy Joe Munday's articles. He makes some very valid comments and I hope he will go far in journalism. He is a good example of what so many young ­people are like and get precious little credit for.

How about him eventually becoming editor of one of the leading nationals? Or better still head of BBC News, then maybe we could get more really intelligent coverage.
