JEAN Humber of Pipers Pool has knitted 24 bobble hats for poorly children at Bristol hospital.

Jean, who has done much knitting over the years for charity, said she felt she had to get involved when she heard about the need for these hats for the children with bobbles in traffic light colours — red, amber and green.

Jean also holds a Knitter Knatter group every Thursday afternoon at her home and all are welcome to come along with their wool and knitting needles.
