FOR the seventh successive year, Launceston's 'Spring Rock' heralds the start of the festival season with a

familiar mix of cutting edge dance music, bands playing everything from blues ad reggae to rock, and an

impressive variety of activities to suit all ages and tastes.

Friday night's Arena 1 marquee, will be hosted by

resident DJ Mike Steventon with guests Lloyd and Jason T, and headliners Swankie and Kashie.

The Arena 2 marquee (a first this year!) will be hosted by 'The Krafty Sheep Show' and 'Dance Dance Dance on Friday and Saturday.

Saturday sees a line-up including Wish You Well Band, Back Door Men, The Horse Band, Mighty Revs, Opium and Blindlite and Freedom Falls.

Activities throughout the day include DJ workshops, digital media workshop, pottery, face painting, portraits, clown, bouncy castle, surf stimulator, bungee run,

paintball and much more!

Plus this year's festival will host the world premiere of 'Blimmin' Virus of the Damned,' the first ever all Cornish zombie movie.

The event will take place at St Leonards Equitation Centre, Launceston on May 22 and 23.
