FOLLOWING a number accidents on the A30 Plusha (BP station) junction, Conservative Cornwall Councillor Phil Parsons requested a site meeting at Plusha to discuss the local concerns as to the safety of the junction.

The Highways Agency (HA) officers and Cornwall Council (CC) cabinet member for Transport and Highways, Graeme Hicks, were invited to attend. The HA were represented by their sub contractors Enterprisemouchel Network Manager Dave Ewings and CC Network Manager Jeremy Edwards.

Both assisted in clarifying where their roles joined together and separated in relation to responsibility.
