THE organising committee of the Cornwall and Devon Countryman's Fair at Werrington Park said it was an 'outstanding success'. There was plenty to see and do for visitors to the grounds of Werrington Park Estate on Sunday. Organisers said the crowds were entertained by 'fantastic acts' in the main ring, with the 'stars of the show' the Kangaroo Kids, who put on a display of quad bike acrobatics, and Jonathan Marshall, the falconer on horseback. The sporting activities included a hound show, a challenging clay competition organised by Tamar Shooting Ground and shooting lessons from British Association for Shooting and Conservation instructors.
