Lorraine O’Brien, parent and ‘Friend’ of the school secured the £9,995 lottery funded grant and the ‘Friends’, with the help of parents and pupils, past and present raised in excess of £3,500.
The 2015 Year 6 leavers also contributed £500 to the equipment.
A spokesperson for the school said: “An installation of this quality will have a positive impact on the social, emotional and physical development of pupils at the school for years to come.
“It is an excellent example of community collaboration, determination and focus. The school is extremely grateful to all concerned.”
