A DELABOLE mother is outraged by customer service after mislabelled packaging endangered her son's life.
Sharon Cousens' son has a severe allergy to milk and dairy products. The family has been aware of his condition since a young age. By consuming milk, he can go into anaphylactic shock, a "horrific sight" for his family.
Mrs Cousens had an online food shop from Wadebridge Tesco and ordered jam doughnuts, the usual treat for her son as she knows it does not contain milk or products.
Her son took a bite from one and spat it out, saying that the jam had gone off.
When Mrs Cousens looked at it she found that it had was actually chocolate sauce.
"Luckily he was old enough to know it wasn't right and he spat it out."
