THE work of pupils from a Launceston school is on show at an exhibition at the town's museum.
Lawrence House Museum wanted to inspire more children and young people with the eclectic objects it holds. The project formed part of a strategic approach taken by the museum to improve the site for the benefit of visitors.
It aimed to enable primary aged children and their families who have English as a second language, to explore the heritage of Launceston through museum objects.
Project co-ordinators Jan Horrell and Melanie Young worked with the children and their families.
Ms Horrell said: "Children and parents were thrilled to convert their drawings inspired by the objects, which they could handle into screen prints on tote bags, which are being used as part of a vibrant exhibition about the project.
