LADIES of the Tap Club, Yeolmbridge, recently held a presentation for their much loved teacher, Greta Bird, to mark her retirement after teaching the class for 11 years.

The group said: "Greta was an inspirational part of their lives."

All members are retirement age, few had danced previously, while Greta herself will be 80 later this year.

Responding, Greta said: "I've had a great love of dance as long as I can remember, and sharing that love, and seeing the enjoyment and expertise achieved has been quite amazing for me."
