An inspector has been appointed by the Department for Communities and Local Government to determine appeals regarding an application from Poltair Homes for the residential development of 27 affordable housing (nine for RSL rent and 18 for low cost purchase) and residential development of 13 open market and 14 low cost for sale properties on land adjoining Victoria Gardens, Camelford.
Cornwall Council has advised the public enquiry will commence at 10am on July 23 and 24 at The Shire House, Bodmin.
TIMESCALE
Claire Hawke, from Cornwall Council's Planning and Regeneration department said the inspector has been appointed due to non-determination.
She added: "This means that planning decisions have not been reached on the applications and the appellant/agent are appealing against the principle that we have not made the decisions within the certain timescale."
The following documents may be referred to at the public inquiry — the appellant's grounds of appeal and statement and a statement by Cornwall Council.
