TWINNERS don't usually make industry visits but this year was special — not only was it the 35th anniversary, but it saw the largest group of French visitors in years from Bude-Stratton's twin town of Ergué Gabéric. Bude businesses Bott Ltd and AWB textiles gave guided tours, showing the guests the workings of their businesses. Additionall,y there was a Ginsters factory visit — with samples! To tie in with the D-Day celebrations, a morning was spent at the RAF Memorial Museum at Davidstow — these are in adjacent buildings left from the second world war, each showing quite different aspects of the role played by Cornwall.
