INCLEMENT weather did not deter the annual Linkinhorne Summer Fayre event from taking place, albeit with reduced activities.

Approximately 100 people attended for the children’s ‘Model Raft Race’ on the River Lynher in Parson’s Meadow, Rilla Mill, followed by a duck race with over 1,200 ducks taking to the water.

The beer tent and barbecue was much appreciated and enjoyed.
