A TREE planting ceremony and a bench presentation took place at St Stephens Primary School, Launceston, on Friday, March 11 in memory of school lollipop man Jeff Stokes, who sadly passed away earlier this year. Theresa Mill, deputy headteacher said: "Jeff regularly brightened everyone's day and has a special place in the hearts of us all at St Stephens school." Money for the bench and tree was arranged through collections organised by the PTFA.

IN MEMORY OF GEOFF: Members of school council, PTFA and family members are shown with the Weeping Cherry tree and Alicia Grant is pictured assisting Alan Stokes with the tree planting.
