OKSIGEN Theatre’s recent production of Hansel and Gretel, written and directed by Oksana Wroath, was a huge success, boasting fantastic performances, costumes, script, props, set, music, lighting and sound.
The wonderful lyrics were written by Michael Drynan and sang beautifully by the children.
The cast of 50 local children and young adults did the company proud as ever, with the audience left feeling amazed by the show and all the evident hard work that had gone into it over the past few months.
Following Oksigen’s successful performance at Launceston Town Hall on Saturday, November 26, they had two more show dates, where the show was presented in the Parkhouse in Bude on Saturday, December 3 at 2pm and 7pm.
Mayor of Launceston, Brian Hogan, was apparently ‘very impressed’ by the show, and commented how beneficial the skills learnt by the students will equip them in their future lives in every area.
