The Bude Ladies' Leverton Clark Trophy was played for recently and was won by Monica Keech with a fine score of 36 points and the runner-up was Muriel Giles with a score of 35 points.

The May Stableford's Silver Division was won by Sheila Hynes with a score of 32 points with the runner up being Muriel Giles. The Bronze Division winner was A Aparicio with a score of 31 points and runner-up with 23 points was the Lady Captain, Judith Smith.

Bude Ladies recently had a friendly match with St Mellion, the team had a very impressive 5-0 win, the winning team were: I Butler and P Cann, R Osborn and M Hopgood, N Bailey and R Clarke, M Keech and P Wells and J Downes and M Trewin.

Jill and Charlotte Britton also had an impressive win over St Mellion ladies in the Daily Mail Foursomes Competition, winning by a margin of 7&6.

The ladies had a league match against Falmouth; this resulted in a disappointing loss of 5½ to 2½. Team members were: J Pearce, S Watson, S Hynes, N Bailey, S Phillips, I Butler and M Keech.

Sunday, June 7 saw Bude Ladies playing at Launceston against Porthpean in the 2nd round of the Gammon Trophy. This match was won by Bude by 5½ to 1½. The winning team were: J Reed, S Courtenay, J Pearce, C Burgess, S Watson, P Atkinson and J Britton.

June Medal played on Sunday, June 7, the Silver Division was won by K Smeeth 91-14=77 and the Bronze Division was won by M Trewin 101-27=74.

June Medal played on Wednesday, June 10, Silver Division winner was M Giles 97-19=78 and the Bronze Division winner was R. Clarke 106-32=74.

On Thursday, June 11 the West Cornwall Golf Club hosted the Baron Rose Bowl, a county event open to all Cornish Clubs. Bude were represented in pairs by: S Courtenay and C Burgess, J Reed and S Watson, J Smith and S Phillips. A 36 hole foursomes medal was played in good conditions on this testing links course, with the winning team being Perranporth. Suzanne and Collette collected a much deserved second place in the afternoon competition.
