THE North Cornwall Hunt held its traditional New Year hunt on Tuesday, January 1.

A group of around 60 riders and hounds met at The Green, in Blisland, moved on to Bodmin Moor and then to Newton Downs. The group had laid trails before the event for the hounds to follow.

It was a clear dry morning, a change from the prolonged wet weather over the festive break.
