North Devon Hospice praised the collective spirit of women from Holsworthy, Bude and the surrounding area as they pulled together to take part in Nightwalk at Tamar Lakes, last weekend. In total, 365 women took on the ladies-only sponsored walk around the lakes, raising money for the charity's Long House Appeal which aims to build a new hospice facility in Holsworthy. Jenny Richardson, from North Devon Hospice's fundraising team, praised everyone who played a part at the weekend: "This was an amazing experience and it took a great many people to make it happen. "The ladies who took part were fantastic but we are also grateful to our army of volunteers who did a great job on the night, as well as our sponsors and business supporters who are essential to the event. "
