HUNDREDS of people packed Camelford's Enfield Park for a spring fair with fun dog show.

The event, organised by the Labrador Trust and Camelford Town Council, took place on Saturday, May 23.

Newly elected town mayor Rob Rotchell opened the fair and welcomed everyone. Many organisations had stalls including the WI, Scouts, Royal British Legion and the Rotary Club, which provided the marquee for craft stalls and face painting. The fun dog show featured 12 classes and was well supported.

The town band, Sian Netherton and a line-dancing group provided musical entertainment. There were refreshments on offer, including a hog roast and home-made cakes. Plans are already in place for a musical afternoon in the park and the Roughtor Run over the August bank holiday weekend.
