A MELANGE of music, film, poetry and storytelling emanated from Launceston over the weekend, as the Charles Causley Festival marked its fourth year.

The town's celebration of literature and arts, lived up to its name, as various events and entertainments took place last week and into the weekend.

This year's proceedings, included a week long Charles Causley exhibition, a premiere of musician Jim Causley's new CD, various walks with Rob Tremain, Jane Nancarrow and Arthur Wills, writers' workshops from Devon poets, a showing of the film 'The Murder of Charlotte Dymond' and various talks and poetry recitals.
