FRIDAY night is bingo night at Launceston Football Club.

Donald Stone, Golda Heywood, Kath Dymond and Jennie Bailey have been running these weekly sessions for more than 18 months.

During this time they have raised money through the raffle. After spending out for books, etc, there are surplus funds, which they are giving away to local charities chosen by themselves.

These are Launceston Cats Protection, Parkinson’s Support Group, Southgate Colts Under 9s, The Smart Start Pre School, Huntington’s Disease sensory sessions, the Monday Club, Children’s Hospice South West and Launceston Girl Guides.

Members of these groups were presented with cheques at the Football Club last Friday.
