THE League of Friends of Launceston Hospital and Community held its annual fete in the grounds of the hospital on Saturday, July 14.

Throughout the afternoon visitors enjoyed the variety of stalls and entertainment, ranging from a wide selection of music by Launceston Town Band, home produce and cake stalls, guess the price of the house, tombola, raffles, a dog show and much more.

As always the cream teas went down a treat along with the barbecue.

The League expressed thanks to everyone who helped and supported the fete, which raised a total of £2,898 in aid of the League.

This will enable the League to support its hospital and community and assist in improving facilities and equipment for the benefit of both patients and staff.
