NORTH Devon Hospice has officially released plans for an Outreach Centre, which will be built on a site beyond the car park of Holsworthy Medical Centre.
Cath Faulkner, Human Resources Manager said a planning application would be submitted on March 31 and it was intended that building would begin in August with a view to completion and opening in April 2015.
She explained that before building could begin funds had to be secured and land and ecological surveys to be done to check that the site was suitable in particular with regard to drainage which if there was a problem might escalate the cost.
The centre will be known as The Long House. Inside there will be two rooms for services including complimentary therapy and a hair care suite and two counselling rooms where one-to-one support can be provided.
