SHANTY group the Boscastle Buoys have not let an impending album release get in the way of their dedication to supporting charity and worthy causes.
The group has become renowned for its fundraising efforts since beginning its melodious journey in a village pub. Singing is the passion of the members, and it has been put to good use since the Buoys' formation.
Following the news that 33 Chilean miners had become trapped underground after the collapse of a gold and copper mine in August 2010, the Buoys dedicated the song 'Working Man' to their plight, singing it every Tuesday night for the duration of the time the men were cut off.
