THE Brendon Arms in Bude recently held a big breakfast event, raising money for the North Devon Hospice.

Big breakfasts have been popping up all over North Devon and Cornwall borders, giving local people the chance to enjoy the most important meal of the day with family, friends, neighbours or colleagues, whilst also raising vital funds for the local hospice.

On Saturday, March 18, the Brendon Arms held a big breakfast, charging £6.50 for a delicious breakfast.

The money raised through the big breakfast, which is generously supported by Phillip Dennis Foodservice, will help North Devon Hospice care for local people who are suffering from the impact of cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. All hospice services are provided completely free of charge, but it costs £4-million each year to care in this way.

This is possible thanks to the ongoing support of the local people of North Devon, so by attending a local big breakfast event means support will be provided to people in the community.
