RESIDENTS have given their backing towards running Tintagel Visitor Centre.

The parish council is in the final stages of confirming ownership of the centre which would also include the associated public toilets.

A meeting with parish councillors and members of the public, was held on Wednesday, April 11 and over 40 residents attended to hear about the plans and give their support.

Chairman of Tintagel Parish Council, Roger Wickett said: "The response was excellent and over 20 people volunteered to give their time to help at the centre."
