ST Breward Silver Band held a garden party at Wenford Bridge Craft Centre, St Breward and in the grounds of their bass trombone player, Cookie Scottorn.

The weather could have been better but for all those that did attend, it was well received.

Solos were performed by Clair Teague on cornet, Loveday Davies on flugal — it was Loveday’s first ever solo performance in public — and Tom Hoyle on Ebb bass. All three provided a performance to be proud of.

The evening drew to a close when the band performed You’ll Never Walk Alone to a very appreciative audience.

Thanks were expressed to everyone who supported the event and it is hoped there is better weather next time the band hold an event.
