Shebbear and Buckland Filleigh History Society held an open afternoon on Sunday, October 18 to give residents a chance to come and view a host of memorabilia they have collected.

Held in Shebbear Village Hall the event displayed memorabilia and photographs of scenes from Shebbear and the surrounding district and people were invited to come along and share their memories with each other and the society.

The group usually meets every last Thursday in the Church Room.
