PLANS for a residential development to provide 24 affordable dwellings at Mandalay Farm, Tintagel, have been refused by Cornwall Council.
In its notice of refusal, the reasons given by the local authority include the development 'would be overly prominent within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Heritage Coast' and that 'the applicant has failed to demonstrate that development on this site would not increase the risk of flooding in the surrounding area'.
