THE traditional St Peter's Fair week in Holsworthy, was once again declared an all round success by organisers and the town's Mayor.
The fair was originally held in what is now the churchyard of St Peter and St Paul's Church. Over time, it became the custom to hold the fair on the feast day of the Saint that the church was dedicated to, so the fair was named after St Peter.
For a full report from the day, including the traditional Court Leet and plenty of photographs, please see this week's edition of the 'Post'.
