HOLSWORTHY'S new livestock market has been described as practical but not "over the top," by Torridge District Council's (TDC) special projects manager Vanessa Saunders.

Last month's council meeting saw some councillors appeal for more communication about the development of the projects from the steering committee.

As a result, at the recent Holsworthy Town Council meeting, Vanessa gave a presentation regarding the agri-business centre which incorporates a new livestock market, on the new site near the existing Holsworthy Dobles Lane Industrial Estate.
