HOLSWORTHY'S new livestock market and agri-business centre, near the existing Holsworthy Dobles Lane Industrial Estate, will open in April 2014 and about seven months later a new Tesco supermarket will be ready to start trading on the site of the old market, writes Christine Williams.

This announcement was made by Leader of Torridge District Council, Barry Parsons at a press conference called by Torridge District Council in Chilsworthy Village Hall on Monday (March 18). The project unlocks approximately 14 acres of new employment land, will create many more jobs and attract new businesses to the area.
