Visitors could examine detailed plans for the Square, Stanhope Park and an artist's impressions of the agri-business centre and discuss them with town councillors. The plans provide a blueprint for the future and aims to improve and infuse a new vibrancy into the town centre.
As for the Square, signs, railings, bollards and street furniture needed cleaning and new signage, public seating and landscape planting could be provided. Information boards and a computer controlled information screen to advertise events, were included in the plans.
