People need to be educated on the future potential of the agri-business centre, that was the message from members of Holsworthy Town Council as they supported the proposed new livestock market and agri-business centre project in Holsworthy.
At the town's council meeting on Wednesday, April 6, county councillor for Holsworthy Rural, Barry Parsons, also a member of the agri-business steering committee, spoke of his concern regarding the recent publicity of opposition towards the proposals (as reported in the 'Post').
He said: "It is unfortunate that these meetings are taking place before elections and that we are getting this opposition on the agri-business project at this time and I don't know where it has come from. People who are fully informed on it are in full support."
