CHARLOTTE Finlay and Melanie McVean, of Holsworthy, will take the fight against dementia to the highest point in Britain as part of a fundraising effort for the Alzheimer's Society.
Charlotte and Melanie hope to raise over £1,000 by taking part in the Ben Nevis challenge on May 20 to May 22. Ben Nevis, Gaelic for 'mountain of heaven', stands at 4,409 feet (1,343m) above sea level. Charlotte and Melanie will scale its heights to raise funds to support the 750,000 people in the UK who have a form of dementia.
