David Rowlands ran the London Marathon in aid of the NSPCC and completed it in 4 hours and 21 minutes. Penbode Veterinary Group in Holsworthy, where David is a partner, organised evening events and collecting sponsorship from staff and clients amounting to a grand total of £3,312.77. David presented the cheque to Diane Rowlands, his mother and local NSPCC co-ordinator, at her coffee morning on May 5. This was her 29th coffee morning when about 60 supporters raised an additional £460 for the charity.
