LOCAL organisations are to be invited to attend this year's annual town's meeting in Holsworthy and give a short presentation about themselves.

The idea was suggested by a member of the public at last year's town's meeting and it was raised again by the Town Clerk, Mrs Clare Dalley on Wednesday, January 7.

Mrs Dalley also suggested the council present their grant cheques to local charities on the same evening, which was provisionally booked for April 16.

Along with the presentations from local organisations, she believed it would "turn it more into a proper town's meeting."
