HOLSWORTHY Rotary Club was founded in 1971 and for the first time in its history, one of the members has been chosen to be District Governor for Devon.
Part of the job was for Graham Smith and the members of the Holsworthy Club to organise the annual Rotary Devon District Conference.
This four-day event was held recently at the Palace Hotel in Torquay and the theme was 'Life is for Living.'
Joint Conference chairmen Ray Hockin and Ian Chouffot had organised a wide range of inspirational speakers and fabulous evening entertainment for the 300 delegates (there are 50 Rotary Clubs in Devon and many members are ladies).
