Mrs Marion Glossop recently retired from Holsworthy Primary School after nearly 34 years as secretary. On Thursday, May 21 cream teas were served to staff, parents and ex-members of staff who had worked with Mrs Glossop. She was also presented with gifts and flowers. The following day, at the full school assembly, pupils paid tribute to Mrs Glossop. Some danced, some spoke and others presented paintings and photos, as well as a book of the children's pictures and writings.

Mrs Glossop is pictured above planting a Magnolia Tree in the school grounds watched by headteacher Alan Muller and some of the pupils.
