Holsworthy Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision that happened on the B3254 near Jewells Cross on Friday, March 5).

A police spokesperson said: "A green Ford Mondeo is believed to have swerved to avoid a red Peugeot 307, possibly N registration, overtaking on bends just prior to the garage on the Bude side.

"The Mondeo ended up in the garden of a property adjoining the road and the Peugeot carried on without stopping. Fortunately no-one was seriously hurt. We would however like to hear from the driver of the red Peugeot or the unknown car it was overtaking."
