A TOTAL of £4.57million has been obtained through Holsworthy MCTi and this has facilitated an abundance of projects across the 'Post' region, benefitting numerous parishes, writes Amelia Chubb.

The Holsworthy MCTi (Markets and Coastal Towns Initiative) covers 28 parishes and the catchment area includes the wards of Broadheath; Forest; Hartland and Bradworthy; Coham Bridge; Holsworthy; Tamarside and Waldon.

MCTi is a community project run by towns across the UK, including Holsworthy. In a summary of the Community Strategic Plan, it states that the MCTi is 'a partnership scheme led by the South West Regional Development Agency ... It is a process which seeks to deliver community based regeneration for market and coastal towns and their surrounding parishes.'
