CELEBRATING 400 years since the death of the great playwright, William Shakespeare, Holsworthy Library is hosting a exhibition of images by a Holsworthy photographer.
The display is a tribute to William Shakespeare and was the idea of Derek Stratton, a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS), who is an amateur photographer from Holsworthy.
The project was undertaken in collaboration with members of the North Tawton Amateur Dramatic Society, who chose the characters they wished to portray and allowed Mr Stratton to photograph them for the exhibition.
The exhibition will run throughout February during library opening hours.
The library will also be running a children’s craft and story activity session during half term — this event is best suited to primary school age children.
The craft and story activity session will take place on Monday, February 13, from 10.30am to noon. Contact Holsworthy Library to book a place.
