Members of Holsworthy Karate Club recently went to Birmingham to compete in the EKO National Championships. Medals were won by Louise Birch (10-16 girls under 4ft 6ins), Cian Head (10-16 boys under 4ft 6ins) and Sensei Dentlinger (over 16s Brown and Black Belts). The club meets on a Monday and Wednesday evening at the Scout and Guide HQ — 6pm to 7.30pm for under 11s and 7.30pm to 9pm for over 11s.
