A PETITION has been formed by town residents to stop the closure of half of the beds in Holsworthy Hospital.
In response to a proposal by North Devon Healthcare Trust to cut the number of beds at Holsworthy Hospital from 20 to 10, a petition is being signed by local residents calling on the trust to suspend and reverse any decision taken and to put the well-being of patients first.
It has been organised by Mr Alan Jones, a former Mayor of Holsworthy, who hopes that as many people as possible will sign.
There are 22 copies in various shops and businesses in the town and two at Bradworthy.
