NOW in its 49th year Holsworthy's twinning arrangement with Aunay-sur-Odon in Normandy continues to flourish, writes Christine Williams.
At lunch time on Friday, May 17 a group of 79 French visitors arrived in the town and were welcomed by their host families. In the afternoon they attended a Devon cream tea reception hosted by Holsworthy Town Council and held in Bodmin St Methodist schoolroom instead of Badock Gardens because of uncertain weather.
