Coles Mill Stables, Holsworthy recently held their annual dressage festival, which had been postponed from August 2008 due to the awful weather and then had to be delayed due to the resurfacing of their ménage. The day was well supported with 26 entries in two classes — introductory dressage for beginners and a preliminary test. The annual silver cups went to Lisa Honey for the highest score of the day on her horse Lisba d'avril with a score of 70.09 per cent and the restricted riding school category went to Sophie Heard with a score of 59.13 per cent. The 2009 competition will be held in August at Coles Mill Stables. There will be classes for introductory, preliminary and novice riders.
